MCCC Student-Athlete Spotlight: Lydia King

Lydia has the highest integrity and is an incredibly hard working young woman. She is an intense and feisty athlete, playing volleyball and basketball. She is a disciple who is also making disciples amongst her teammates, on campus, at junior high youth group, and in so many other areas of her life. The love of Jesus pours out from her, and she is a friend to all.

Future plans: After graduation, I will be getting married and hopefully moving somewhere out east. I plan to use my degree and teach in the elementary grades. I am not sure what all God has in store for my fiancé and I or where He will take us, but I am so excited to live life and find out!

Favorite hobby outside of sports: I am a nerd and love learning. In my free time I listen to podcasts, practice sign language and Spanish, and am attempting to learn how to play the guitar. I also love the outdoors and try to go hiking as often as I can.
